Consumer Insights Manager

Description

Reporting to the Business Intelligence Director, the Consumer Insights Manager is responsible for providing valuable relevant data and consumer insights to support the development of marketing and commercial strategies that drive a forward-looking understanding of Consumer/Shoppers trends that lead to meaningful recommendations for business growth and actions. This manager is also responsible for recommending and piloting custom research projects to influence marketing and innovation decisions.

* This role could be based out of either Quebec or Ontario.

Responsabilities

  • Feed the teams with key insights contributing at driving brand results, such as consumer & alcohol trends, persona generation, consumer insights, consumers journey mapping, shoppers trends, brand equity tracking.
  • Leverage shopper data to understand shopper behavior in-store to support key customers and shopper strategies for the organization
  • Prepare various monthly dashboards, reports, and presentations for the brand, sales, and executive teams.
  • Recommend and manage qualitative & quantitative research projects for our partners to improve core understanding of the brand and consumers and to evaluate and improve campaigns.
  • Identify and present innovation opportunities.
  • Translate key learning into meaningful and actionable recommendations to enhance the strategies, the brands’ development, and the consumers’ activation.
  • Research budget management.

Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing research or an equivalent (e.g., business administration, marketing, sociology).
  • WSET diploma is an asset.
  • Four - five (4-5) years of experience in consumer insights research.
  • Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional analytic skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to tell a clear and concise story
  • Excellent storytelling skills with an ability to develop strong presentations
  • Delivering strong and goals-oriented consumer strategies
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills
  • Initiating action proactively
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and respect tight deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with various teams
  • Curious and dynamic personality
