Customer Marketing Manager

Role

In collaboration with the Key Account and Brand teams, the Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and creating customer specific programs. He or she is in charge of establishing the direction on how the programs will be executed across the different retailers in order to enable best-in-class execution at store level. The role focuses on planning and working collaboratively with key buyers and suppliers to deliver volume and revenue targets. The Customer Marketing Manager will work directly under the Sales Director and carry out several tasks to facilitate campaign drives for the company.

Reponsibilities

  • Develop breakthrough customer marketing ideas that will deliver against the growth opportunities for assigned brands across the portfolio
  • Develop value-based relationships with key buyers, category managers and marketing departments
  • Pitching listing opportunities to buyers and creating and implementing new brand launch plans and customer materials
  • Forecasting for annual volumes/revenue and A&P promotions and non-promo spend, manage merchandising and sales activity calendar, managing A&P and marketing budgets
  • Work with cross-functional teams, providing strategic & tactical coordination and sales tools that will enable strong execution in our Retail partners stores
  • Provide competitive analysis on brand performance
  • Communicate retailers’ priorities/opportunities to sales Key Account Director to ensure strategic planning
  • Contribute to revenue management and inventory planning/logistics
  • Measure and report key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Hosting and managing all aspects of market visit with suppliers, creating and presenting business reviews to executives and suppliers
  • Working with Media on upcoming releases, events, tastings, and managing media budgets for promoting our products through various outlets
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum Three (3) years of experience managing Customer Marketing in the CPG or beverage alcohol industry (grocery experience an asset)
