Territory Manager


Reporting to the Sales Director, the Territory Manager will be responsible for the growth of sales volume, the development of new business opportunities and the satisfaction of customer needs.


  • Develop sales strategies and tactics based on advice, customer feedback and market environment
  • Proactively identify and capture opportunities for business growth, added value and brand retention
  • Meet sales targets and drive sales growth in the territory
  • Manage designated business development budgets on a daily basis
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of our products, competition, and customer needs
  • Manager routes and account visits to complete daily tasks
  • Estimate volumes of purchases using IT tools
  • Participate in supplier visits, business events, and cunsumer events, all of which can take place outside normal business hours

Education and experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of experience in a sales role
  • Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry (strong asset)
  • WSET certification (strong asset)


  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of CRM tools
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and dynamic leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication capabilities
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to attend evening and weekends events Own a car and a valid driver’s license
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and respect tight deadlines
  • Completed training in the wine industry (WSET) is a strong asset
