Miguel Torres Chile

With a winemaking story that began in Spain in 1870, the Torres family was eager to explore the terroirs of the new world.

Between tradition and innovation

During a trip to Chile, the Torres family was charmed by the scenery and the climatic conditions that were favourable to the development of high quality wine. Miguel Torres Chile was launched in 1979, in Chile’s Curicó Valley.

Concerned with environmental protection, Miguel Torres Chile devotes considerable time to organic vine-growing and Fair Trade certification. Local teams have worked tirelessly to support the cultivation of traditional grape varieties almost forgotten in Chile, such as País, Carignan and Muscat.

With a presence in over 100 countries, the Miguel Torres Chile family winery has established itself over the past 30 years as one of the principal producers of high-quality wines, through its products’ identity, respect for the environment, and social responsibility.
