Trinchero Family Estates

Established by an Italian immigrant in 1948, Trinchero forged a place in the Napa Valley by becoming one of the leading wine companies in the United States.

Symbol of the American dream

In search of a better life for his family, Mario Trinchero left his homeland Italy for New York, eventually settling in Napa Valley. His courage, audacity and hard work paid off; after the purchase of the Sutter Home winery in 1948, the company enjoyed a meteoric rise.

Each year, it selects only the finest fruit from its regions to produce wines of outstanding quality. For several years the business has also attached great importance to environmental protection, adopting sustainable agricultural practices by prioritizing the use of natural products.

The company today comprises 45 brands, 10,000 acres of vines, and no fewer than a thousand employees.
