Italy

As a top international wine producer, Italy has taken its place among the world’s best. The country’s finest reds come from the Piedmont region, where the Nebbiolo wine grape grows all over.

Ferrari Trento

Giulio Ferrari, a skilled and industrious oenologist, founded his eponymous company in 1902. Four years later, Ferrari sparkling wine took the gold medal at the International Exhibition in Milan. This is the first of many prestigious awards recognizing excellence in production that the company would garner.

Bubbles with prestige

In 1952, Bruno Lunelli, owner of Trento’s most renowned wine bar, acquired the Ferrari winery. Founder Giulio Ferrari would continue to oversee the winery until his death. Bruno Lunelli increased the production of these exquisite and highly anticipated wines to reach a hundred thousand bottles a year.

In the decades that followed, the tireless efforts of his sons Gino, Franco and Mauro led the company, which exclusively produces Metodo Classico sparkling wines in Italy, to the pinnacle of quality and greatness.

Exported throughout the world as veritable icons of the Italian art of living, these truly excellent wines represent the perfect balance between tradition and newness.
