As a top international wine producer, Italy has taken its place among the world’s best. The country’s finest reds come from the Piedmont region, where the Nebbiolo wine grape grows all over.

The vineyards of Fontanafredda are planted in the heart of the Langhe, an historical region of Piedmont. In 2014, this region, along with Roero and Monferrato, became the first agricultural and viticultural landscape to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A unique style

Steeped in 155 years of history, the Fontanafredda winery is surrounded by 100 hectares of vineyards. Its wines preserve the distinctive and traditional characteristics of the fruit from which they are crafted.

Fontanafredda operates with passion, respect for the land, and a ceaseless quest for taste. Their production philosophy is based on the use of indigenous yeasts and close attention is given to the reduction of sulphites. Conscious of protecting our planet, Fontanafredda scrupulously selects its packaging so as to limit environmental impact.
