Marchesi Frescobaldi

More than 700 years have passed since the first wine was produced by the Frescobaldi family, today considered Tuscany’s leading producer.

A Florentine icon

With creativity and vision, the Frescobaldis influenced the political, economic and artistic climates of the city of Florence around the year 1000. Three centuries later, wine production began at the Castiglioni estate in Val di Pesa, a small village southwest of the Tuscan capital.

The Frescobaldi family is particularly exacting about the quality of their wines, ensuring that they express the unique characteristics of their terroirs. Proud of the accomplishments of their ancestors, the Frescobaldis are unquestionably driven by a passion for oenology and its resulting pleasures.
