United States

Home to 90% of U.S. wine production, California was the first region in the New World to be internationally recognized for its wine quality. Washington State and Oregon are also ideal grape-growing states, producing more and more sought-after wines.

Marimar Estate

Born in Barcelona in 1945, Marimar Torres has been involved in the wine business all her life.

Bringing Spain to California

Nestled in the hills of western Sonoma County, the Russian River / Green Valley appellation offers a perfect microclimate for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 50 miles north of San Francisco, the site is influenced by the sea’s cooling breezes.

That is why Marimar Torres selected this privileged location to "export" the Torres family's legacy of fine wines to California. The yields are deliberately low in order to obtain fruit with a greater concentration of flavors and more refined aromas, creating wines with a beautiful balance.

The production wing benefits from carefully selected, state-of-the-art equipment, in order to best express the character of the fruit and the expression of an exclusive terroir.
